About one-hour drive from the Liberia International Airport, Costa Palmera is located on the Pacific Coast near the village of Playa Grande. It is easy to fly directly to Costa Rica from North America and Europe via the Liberia International Airport. Various major International airlines serve the airport as well, including Delta. It takes between three to seven hours to fly to Costa Rica airports from most major cities in the United States and Canada. Flight times within the country are between 20 minutes to one hour. If you are flying into the capital city of San Jose, for example, you may wish to take a short, quick and inexpensive flight to Playa Tamarindo, which is 10 minutes from Playa Grande and Costa Palmera.
